About
I wrote my first software at twelve — a database of every monster in the D&D Monster Manual, built on an Apple IIe. Forty-three years later, the technology changed. The kid didn’t.
My career has covered ground most people split across three lifetimes: classical French culinary training, a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s license earned on tugboats in the Bering Sea, a decade at Microsoft during the platform wars, and a venture-backed startup that built mobile internet applications seven years before the iPhone.
Today I design and build AI-native systems through Sapient Technology Group. Production-grade multi-agent architectures with the governance to back them up. I believe the people who know how to build should be the ones deciding how AI builds — and that taste is the one thing you can’t automate.
Based in the Pacific Northwest. Two sons, one very opinionated dog, and a motorcycle habit I have no intention of fixing.
Sapere Aude — dare to know.
